Alopecia
This series was created through an intuitive, freehand, moving meditation painting process which allowed the themes of each painting to emerge and be discovered as they were created. This series highlights themes of healing and growing, as Rachel was experiencing grief through hair loss during the creation of this series, as well as merging the beauty of our natural world with the chaos of technological advancements. These paintings inspire others to see dream-like solutions to the often adversarial relationship between (human) nature and technology.
